Cortado Knox Agent

Cortado Knox Agent is a part of the Cortado Server enterprise mobility solution (www.cortado.com/server) and is required for setting up a Knox container on Samsung devices.

A Knox container creates a separate, secure area designated for business use only on a Samsung device. Observing high security standards, business applications and data inside the container are isolated from personal data, which simultaneously guards against malware and phishing attacks.

The agent sets up the container, establishes the container’s policies and provides information on the status of the container. If required, it can remove the container from the device. Of course, all functions are also able to be carried out on the Cortado Server management console.

PLEASE NOTE: Cortado Knox Agent operates exclusively in combination with the Cortado Server enterprise mobility solution (www.cortado.com/server) and is configured on the server side via the management console. Additional Samsung Knox licenses are required. Check with your IT administrator before installing Cortado Knox Agent on your mobile device.
